History Of The Metal Zoo

These cast aluminum statues are hand-crafted by foundry workers in various parts of Mexico. For twelve years now they have been imported by some faction of The Metal Zoo and sold from big trailers roadside and in parking lots all over the western U.S.

Our permanent art gallery and showroom has been located in Jackson, CA for 12 years now, and we still have associates roaming the country and selling from a trailer.

Our never-ending search for art that features reclaimed or recycled materials continues. We will continue to create striking art from reclaimed scrap metal, an assortment of junk, debris and refuse.

At our two-acre Recycled Art Yard in Jackson, we have added an incredible variety of Mexican art: clay, sheet metal, rock art, wood art and much more. In addition, our own artesanos have created a huge variety of odd-ball items and clever yard art. We carry an incredible and large selection of affordable sculptures and statues in our gallery along with other collectible art and gifts made from recycled material. Our statue sizes range from life size to desktop which are perfect for residential, restaurants, municipalities, park & recreation departments, libraries, resorts, catering halls, commercial buildings, parks, zoos, tourist attractions, lawn & garden décor and any facility that requires a quality art piece. We also offer other creative recycled metal home and garden decorations such as metal mailboxes, light poles, flags and wall décor.

All our recycled cast aluminum statues are environmentally green, rustproof and never rot. The cast aluminum is very thick and very strong! Your statue will be a lasting treasure of a lifetime. Durable as bronze but a fifth of the cost, it will be a great investment as well; only appreciating as time goes on. As an heirloom it may well stay in your family for generations.
